This is a great site to visit if you need additional help, miss a day of class, etc. Click on "tutorial" and select your the topic you need help with. HyperPhysics HyperPhysics is a site hosted by Georgia State University. There are many topics here. Be careful though, because some explanations are way more in depth (and use harder math) than our conceptual physics course. Physics 24/7 This site has alot to offer regarding study tips, etc. Newton's Law & Forces This page is a good video tutorial and click-through "concept map" covering forces & Newton's Laws. (Clikc on the "mind map".) Exploratorium This site has excellent examples of how physics (and many other branches of science) apply in everyday life. Sports science, (Skateboarding, hockey, mass vs weight on different planets,) PhET Online physics simulations covering many topics. Hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder. Check it out, it is lots of fun to play with physics. |
