I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in December 2003 with a Bachelors in Science Education. I earned a Masters Degree in education from Lamar University in 2010. I hold a Texas Teaching Certificate with certifications in composite science and driver's education. I am TTCC (Teacher Technology Competency Certification) Certified to work with a variety of technology resources. I completed work on my Masters Physics Teaching certificate at SMU in the summer of 2014.
Experience

I began my teaching career at Arlington High School from 2004-2007. I moved to Legacy High School when it opened in the 2007-2008 school year. This school year (2018-2019) will be my 15th year in the classroom, and my 12th year with MISD. I have taught many of the physical sciences during my career including IPC, Advanced IPC, ChemComm, Chemistry, and Physics. I am also a state certified driver's education instructor for Mansfield Driving Academy. With MDA, I provide both classroom and in-car instruction.
About Me!

I have been married to my wife, Monica, since 2003 and we 2 sons (9 and 5 years old). I truly enjoy working with students whether it be teaching science or driver's education. When I am not working I enjoy outdoor activities such as hunting, shooting, fishing, and camping. I also enjoy going to concerts, playing golf, shooting sports and attending Texas Ranger's games.
